A resolution to incorporate abortion rights in France's Constitution was adopted by lawmakers in the country's Lower House of Parliament on Thursday. The resolution was approved with 337 lawmakers voting for it in the National Assembly of 557 members. Abortion was decriminalised in France in 1975 but there is no provision in the Constitution that guarantees abortion rights.
