India has reported 5,383 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's data. This comes a day after 5,443 new COVID-19 cases were reported in India. The active COVID-19 cases in the country now stand at 45,281. The number of coronavirus-related deaths so far has reached 5,28,449.
