Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday said the new airport terminal in Leh may become operational by December 2022. A team will shortly visit Ladakh to technically evaluate locations for additional airstrips in Leh, Scindia added. He also said that he'll look at the possibility of running commercial flights with smaller jet planes to Kargil as an interim solution.
