An 87-year-old retired home guard officer, Ramesh Maganlal Sanghavi, died by suicide on the premises of a residential society in Mumbai's Ghatkopar, police said. Sanghavi left his apartment saying he was stepping out for a morning walk, an official said. A suicide note was allegedly recovered, where he stated he took the step due to his ailments.
