A Mumbai resident, Harsh Kotecha, has been booked for allegedly cheating a 27-year-old woman and her relatives of ₹67.52 lakh by inducing them into investing in the share market. The complainant deposited ₹67.52 lakh between January 2018 and June 2022 in Kotecha's account, but he failed to give promised profit. Kotecha gave her cheques which bounced due to insufficient balance.
