UN peacekeepers from India and other nations have thwarted an attack by a rebel group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), a senior UN official said. The M23 group has been active in the last couple of weeks in eastern DRC, the official added. The UN is following the situation very closely, the official further said.
