A major power outage hit parts of Gurugram on Friday, disrupting electricity supply and halting Rapid Metro services for over an hour. The outage was triggered after the main transformer at a power substation in Sector 72 caught fire, leading to shutdown of seven major substations. Videos showed passengers walking along the tracks after metro services came to a standstill.
