A Japanese startup, along with Professor Naruhiko Shiratori, has developed an AI tool that can predict which new recruits may quit shortly after joining their firms. It uses employees' attendance, age, gender and other personal information along with ex-employees' data. Shiratori is planning an upgrade to allow the tool to suggest suitable assignments for new recruits by analysing job interviews.
