In a significant breakthrough, the Vishrambaug Wada police have apprehended a notorious thief, Jaywant alias Jaydya Govardhan Gaikwad, aged 38 and residing in Aundh, who has been involved in more than 150 cases of burglary. The arrest follows the discovery of two burglary cases attributed to Gaikwad, with seized valuables amounting to 4 lakh rupees.
