The Supreme Court has stayed the bail granted to Karnataka’s Muruga Mutt seer, Shivamurthy Muruga Sharanaru, in a case that involves allegations of sexual abuse of minor girls. The court said that he should be kept in judicial custody until the hearing of the witnesses in the case is over. The court wanted the trial finished in four months.
