Aspirin users less likely to suffer from bowel cancer: Study

An aspirin a day can 'weaponise' the immune system to help destroy bowel cancer cells in the body. Earlier, research showed that long-term use of aspirin can slash the risk of bowel cancer by inhibiting its progression. According to a study published in the Cancer journal, it was found that common painkillers can have protective effects against cancer.
