Residents of the Bakshpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district boycotted the ongoing Lok Sabha elections over a local issue, PTI reported. A video showing local police and administrative officials persuading residents not to boycott the polling process. Notably, Lok Sabha elections began at 7 am on Friday with 102 constituencies across 21 states and UTs voting in first phase.
