Karnataka High Court recently ordered the state government to take action against those unlawfully obstructing bike taxi services. The Bike Taxi Welfare Association had accused certain autorickshaw unions and their members of harassing bike taxi riders. "The state is under obligation to take appropriate action against any individual," the order noted.
