Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the way India restored its economy, particularly its banks, after 2014 "is actually a lesson for Harvard Business School". Indian economy looked vulnerable as it struggled with the twin-balance sheet problem before 2014, she stated. Balance sheets of companies as well as banks were in the doldrums, she added.
