Meta, formerly Facebook Inc., is introducing real-time AI image generation in beta for WhatsApp users in the US. With the launch of its latest large language model, Llama 3, and a real-time image generator, Meta aims to close the gap with market leader OpenAI in the field of artificial intelligence.
