A portion of an under-construction bridge across the Manair River in Telangana's Peddapalli district has collapsed after two cement girders of the bridge fell due to strong winds. With an estimated construction cost of over ₹47 crore, the work on the 1-km-long bridge started in 2016. The bridge was meant to be completed in a year, according to reports.
