KKR become 1st team to qualify for IPL 2024 playoffs

James Anderson announces retirement from international cricket

England fast bowler James Anderson has announced his retirement from international cricket, stating that the first Test of the English summer at Lord's will be his last Test. "It’s been an incredible 20 years representing my country, playing the game I’ve loved since I was a kid," he wrote on Instagram. Anderson has taken 987 wickets in 400 international matches.

Rishabh Pant banned for 1 match for 3rd over-rate violation, fined ₹30 lakh

DC captain Rishabh Pant has been fined ₹30 lakh and banned for one match after his team maintained slow over-rate for the third time in IPL 2024. The rest of the members of DC's playing XI against RR, including Impact Player, have each been individually fined either ₹12 lakh or 50% of their respective match fees, whichever is lesser.
