Taiwan-based cable and connector maker Cheng Uei Precision Industry will start mass production for Apple later this year from its new plant in India, reported Bloomberg. Apple's major suppliers including Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron have set up a subsidiary or an iPhone plant in India. This comes as part of India's new $6.65 billion production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme.
