MI have included Luke Wood in their playing XI in place of Gerald Coetzee, who has a stomach bug. DC have included Kumar Kushagra in their XI in place of Prithvi Shaw. NBA star Joel Embiid has been diagnosed with Bell's palsy. Bell's palsy is neurological disorder that causes paralysis/weakness on one side of the face. It's the most common cause of facial paralysis. Its symptoms include sudden weakness or paralysis on the face's one side, a drooping eyebrow and mouth, drooling from one side of mouth and difficulty closing one eyelid.

World record for most sixes hit in a T20 match broken in KKR-PBKS clash

The world record for most sixes hit in a T20 match was broken in the KKR-PBKS IPL 2024 clash on Friday. As many as 42 sixes were hit in the match, with KKR smashing 18 sixes and PBKS slamming 24 sixes. The previous world record was set in SRH-MI and RCB-SRH IPL 2024 matches, with both witnessing 38 sixes each.

Arjuna awardee CRPF DIG Khajan Singh found guilty of sexually harassing colleagues

The Union government has initiated the process of dismissing a DIG-ranked officer of the CRPF on charges of sexual harassment levelled against him, officials said. Khajan Singh, the Arjuna awardee DIG rank chief sports officer, has been found guilty of sexually harassing women personnel in the paramilitary force. "The CRPF has issued dismissal notice to the officer," an officer said.

'I can't breathe,' dying Black man tells police kneeling on his neck his US; video surfaces

Police in the US' Ohio released a video of a 53-year-old Black man, who died at a local hospital after they pinned him to the floor of a bar and handcuffed him, Reuters reported. Frank Tyson can be heard repeatedly saying "I can't breathe" during the arrest. A policeman is seen placing a knee on his back near his neck.
