Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state government is planning to reopen educational institutions from September 1 but final decision will depend on the Centre. As per a preliminary plan, if schools reopen, all teachers will be tested from August 23-30, he added. Further, Sarma said, at degree level, classes will be held only for final semesters.
