Robert Downey Jr-backed French startup Ynsect is building the world's largest insect farm that will produce 1,00,000 tonne of insect products annually. The 40-metre-tall plant, spread over 40,000 square metres, will also be the world's "first carbon-negative vertical farm", CEO and Co-founder Antoine Hubert said. The farm is due to open in early 2022.
