A 53-year-old man, Krishna Naik, lost his life after being attacked by a swarm of bees while working in his field in Hebri, Udupi district, on December 19. The incident occurred as Krishna Naik went about his daily tasks in the field. Suddenly, a swarm of bees descended upon him. His brothers took him to Wenlock District Hospital in Mangaluru.
