UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the government will give everyone a 50% 'eat out to help out' discount during August. Meals at any participating business from Monday to Wednesday will be at 50% off up to a maximum discount of £10 per head. VAT has also been cut from 20% to 5% for hospitality and tourism sectors for six months.
