At least eight people were killed, and 12 others were injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory near Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar district. Of the 12 injured, three people are reportedly in critical condition. Police said that the factory was licensed and they're trying to ascertain the cause of the incident.
