TMC-led West Bengal government has moved Supreme Court against an order by Calcutta High Court directing CBI to investigate the allegations of land grabbing, extortion and sexual assault in Sandeshkhali. The state government claimed that High Court had failed to take into account the political motive behind the allegations. This comes as CBI is conducting raids in the state.
