Five youngsters tragically drowned at Sangama in Kanakapura taluk, Bengaluru. Identified as Varsha, Neha, Harshitha, Tejas, and Abhishek, they lacked swimming skills. Despite warnings, they entered the waters, resulting in the fatalities. The group, acquainted from Pre-University College, arrived at the spot on two-wheelers. Seven survived, but the victims' bodies were recovered later.
