Binance shared client details with Russia over Ukraine donations: Report

Binance last year handed Russian authorities details of cryptocurrency donations to Ukrainian fundraising campaigns, which were used as evidence in terrorism-financing charges against a Russian IT specialist, Reuters reported. Binance said it had exited Russia in 2023, the exchange still provided the information to authorities. Dozens of Russians who made similar donations have been prosecuted.
