Talking about her Australian Open triumph, world number one Naomi Osaka revealed she called her mother after giving interviews following her victory but she didn't even congratulate her. "She just yelled at me to go to sleep. So I felt really loved," the 21-year-old added. Osaka is the first Asian tennis player to top the men's or women's rankings.
