HPV vaccine study to reduce anal cancer risk in bisexual, gay men

Curtin University has launched a $1 million NHMRC-funded study to explore how HPV vaccination can reduce anal cancer risk among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. The project will involve more than 1,800 participants across WA and NSW, testing self-sampling HPV screening and addressing barriers to vaccination and early detection.
