What are the new PAN application forms under the Income-tax Act?

Under the Income-tax Act, 2025, applicants must use one of the four new PAN application forms, replacing the earlier Forms 49A and 49AA. Indian citizens should use Form 93, while Indian companies and entities must use Form 94. Foreign individuals need Form 95, and entities incorporated outside India must apply using Form 96.
