4 new cases of Omicron detected in Hyderabad, Telangana tally rises to 7

Four more persons have tested positive for the Omicron COVID-19 variant in Hyderabad, taking the total number of Omicron cases to seven in Telangana, the Health Department said on Thursday. State Director of Public Health Dr G Srinivas Rao said three persons who tested positive for the variant were from Kenya, while another Indian-origin person arrived from an 'at-risk' country.
