Need to 're-focus' on efforts against Omicron cases: Mandaviya

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday said that learnings from India's earlier fights against COVID-19 "must be used to re-focus on efforts against the Omicron variant". Mandaviya called for stringent containment measures to curb the surge of COVID-19 cases and asserted the need to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour. He also lauded the efforts of state administrations to curb COVID-19.
