TN shuts schools for all classes till Jan 31, postpones exams amid COVID surge

The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday announced holidays in schools for all classes till January 31, in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases. The state government has also postponed examinations that were scheduled to be held from January 19 for Classes 10 and 12. According to an official statement, the revised dates for the examinations will be announced later.
