Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin on Monday stated that its Twitter account was hacked, following which hackers promoted a fraudulent giveaway scam and stole $22,628 worth of cryptocurrency. The account was hacked for about 45 minutes. The company said it'll fully reimburse all verified asset losses of its users. In 2020, over $150 million was stolen after the cryptocurrency exchange was hacked.
