Cryptocurrency investment platform BitConnect's Founder Satish Kumbhani, charged criminally in the US for running a $2.4-billion ponzi scheme, has disappeared from India, officials said. The 36-year-old Kumbhani has "likely relocated from India to an unknown address in a foreign country", SEC attorney Richard Primoff said in a court filing. US SEC has been attempting to locate him since November.
