₹12-lakh fine imposed on Shubman Gill for over-rate violation
Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill has been penalised after his team maintained a slow over-rate during their IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Tuesday. As it was GT's first offence of the season relating to over-rate, Gill was fined ₹12 lakh. CSK won the match by 63 runs.
