The police in Kerala's Wayanad has said anyone who is seen in public without wearing a mask will be booked under Section 118 (e) of the Kerala Police Act and fined ₹5,000. Shops will be fined ₹1,000 if they don't provide facility of soaps or hand sanitisers or if employees are caught without masks, Wayanad Superintendent of Police Ilango added.
