Assets worth ₹5,551.27 crore of Xiaomi Technology India Private Limited have been seized in connection with "illegal outward remittances made by the company", the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said on Saturday. The assets lying in bank accounts have been seized under provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, the agency added.
