Built with grand intentions and a hefty price tag of ₹6 crore, the state-of-the-art tourist reception centre in Anandpur Sahib now stands abandoned, locked and unused for over 6 months. Even though it was designed to serve as a gateway for pilgrims & tourists, the centre has now become a symbol of bureaucratic inertia & failed planning.
