Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) made stock market debut on August 25, 2004. A ₹10,000 investment in TCS stock during its IPO would have grown to ₹4.5 lakh after 20 years, an analysis by Financial Express showed. The issue price of TCS was set at ₹850 apiece in 2004 and the company issued 1:1 bonus shares in 2006, 2009 and 2018.
