Notwithstanding the state government earmarking ₹132 crore for rural road infrastructure in Fazilka, several village roads damaged during the 2023 and 2025 floods are yet to be reconstructed. Large hoardings installed across the town claim that over ₹132 crore is being spent on strengthening the road network in the area.
