Air India has said the ex gratia amount of ₹1 crore and interim compensation of ₹25 lakh is not the final compensation being paid to the families of those who died during the plane crash incident in Ahmedabad, Moneycontrol reported. In a letter to DGCA, it said the amount is merely an advance, meant to help families with immediate needs.
