At least three workers were killed, and five others were critically injured after the boiler exploded at a sugar factory in Karnataka's Belagavi district on Wednesday, News18 reported, citing Superintendent of Police (Belagavi Rural) K Ramarajan. The explosion reportedly occurred when workers were repairing a valve in the boiler compartment. The injured workers were rushed to nearby hospitals.
