₹4000cr approved under K'taka Textile Policy to create 5 lakh jobs

Karnataka's Textile and Apparel Policy 4.0 for 2026-31 targets ₹20,000 crore in investments and five lakh new jobs. The government has approved ₹4,000 crore in financial support for implementation. The policy identifies 34 priority taluks for additional incentives and concessions and also covers silk reeling and spinning, while offering special incentives at the textile park in Kalaburagi.
