₹702 crore spent on athletes' preparation for Asian Games 2026: Sports Ministry

The Sports Ministry said it spent ₹702.86 crore over three years on preparing Indian athletes for the Asian Games 2026. Around ₹251.4 crore was spent on providing international competition exposure, while domestic training cost ₹118.3 crore. An additional ₹97.84 crore also came from the ministry's flagship Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).
