IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva warned that AI disruption will put 40% of total jobs globally, particularly entry-level jobs, at risk, calling the AI-led shift a "tsunami hitting labour markets". She noted that the number could rise to 60% in advanced economies, but will likely settle at 26% for India. She also praised India's deep structural reforms to prepare for AI.
