MNS leader Sandip Deshpande highlighted past failed alliance attempts, stressing that any new partnership must be "unconditional." He criticised Uddhav Thackeray's past behaviour, saying, "Twice in the past we attempted to forge an alliance... he showed a willingness at first but later just stopped responding." Deshpande asserted, "You can’t tell us who we can invite into our home."
