Erotic romantic drama film, 'Fifty Shades of Grey', featuring James Dornan and Dakota Johnson, collected $81.7 million in the opening weekend to top the US and Canadian box office charts. The Sam Taylor-Johnson directorial was also released in 57 foreign markets. It minted an additional $158 million overseas, for a global total of $240 million.
