Director Suneel Darshan spoke about delay in release of his film 'Andaaz 2' from August 1 to August 8. He said, "The unexpected, tumultuous opening of...'Saiyaara' and its anticipated sustained audience interest...have necessitated reshuffling of release dates." He added, "'Andaaz 2' features newcomers and, like 'Saiyaara', needs open week to give it breathing space and visibility it deserves."
