Kanhaiyalal Khatik, a gold-loving fruit trader known as Chittorgarh’s 'Bappi Lahiri', has alleged receiving a ₹5 crore extortion demand from callers claiming ties to gangster Rohit Godara. He approached police after he received missed calls and a WhatsApp audio that he "would not remain in a condition to wear gold" if he failed to comply. A case has been registered.
